'Dance ON!' Spring Show 2026

This is an exciting time for the students and faculty. It is our time to showcase everyone’s hard work and dedication this season. We are so excited to see our students on stage! We want each student to walk onto the stage feeling confident and leave feeling as though they performed to the best of their ability. Therefore, it is extremely important for the students to attend class every week between now and Saturday, May 16 unless due to illness.

📸 Photo / Costume Week (During Class Time) Week of May 4–9
  • There will not be a professional photographer in the studio this year.

    • Dancers will wear their costumes & hair done like the show to class.
    • We will take group photos during class time and share them with families via email.
    • Dancers will also practice their dances in costume.
    • NEW! For individual photos, we will offer open studio time for families to use our backdrops and lighting to take their own photos on Saturday, May 9 from 10-12pm. A staff member will be onsite to help pose dancers if needed. We will also have a step & repeat backdrop at the show as well.
    • You are also welcome to hire your own photographer for individual photos as costumes are yours to keep.

🎥Videography & Show Etiquette

We kindly ask families to please not record or use flash photography during the live performances. Screens and flashes are distracting and take away from the experience for dancers and audience members.

We hired a professional videographer to film the 6:00pm show.

  • USB copies are available for $40 (includes shipping).
  • Families may take individual photos and videos of their own dancer during Dress Rehearsal ONLY.

Thank you for helping us create a respectful and magical experience for everyone.

Dress Rehearsal Friday, May 15 at Lakeland Union High School

DRESS REHEARSAL starting at 4:30pm
Dress rehearsal is a very important part of the Year-End Show process, and it's very important for your dancer to be present.
  • Arrive 5min early and ready to walk on stage during your scheduled time. We run exactly on time. Come in full costume, hair/make-up and already fed. We will not wait for anyone to run the numbers, so please arrive on time. It is important so that every class has an opportunity to practice under the stage lights, to feel confident, practice stage entrances and exits and correct any special problems that may occur ahead of time.
  • We encourage dancers to watch in theater until it is their turn to dance. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. Each student under 12 years old will need to be supervised by an adult of your choosing.  Each adult can be responsible for no more than two dancers.
  • The adult that you arrange your dancer to be with will remain in the auditorium seated next to the dancer during the rehearsal except when escorting them to and from backstage during a pause/narration or intermission.
  • Dancers will line up with their class outside of the green room entrance with Colleen three dances prior to their dance.
  • We will have the choir room available for students that have more than one dance.
  • Please leave all personal items at home and only bring costume/dance pieces in your personal costume/dance bag. We are not responsible for any lost items. Please label your items.
  • Costumes are yours to keep after the show.
  • No personal jewelry & bright colored nail polish.
  • Please wear proper undergarments! We love Frozen but we’d prefer not to see Elsa through your tights on stage.
Performance Day Saturday, May 16 at Lakeland Union High School
Shows are at 3pm & 6pm.
All dancers are in BOTH shows.
  • Arrive 30 min prior to the show(s) / your dancer's scheduled act. The show should run approximately 1hr 45min.
