FACULTY BIOGRAPHIES

Dana Bostrom
Studio Owner

Dana Bostrom began her training with Central WI School of Ballet. While pursuing a dance major at U of M-Twin Cities, she studied ballet, jazz, contemporary and teaching. Every year she continues her studies. Miss Dana believes "as dance evolves, so must we as teachers."

This has included teacher training with Madam Karkar, at CWSB, ballet with Mrs. Dean at Allegro Dance, the Dance Teacher Summit in NYC, the Dance Studio Life Teacher Conference in Phoenix and Minneapolis workshops with Mandy Moore, Stacey Tookey and various other top choreographers.

Sarah Knott
Studio Director/Instructor

Sarah Knott discovered her love for dance at the young age of five. Dance instilled her with many life skills perseverance, patience, work ethic and more. She continued dancing through college, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with honors from UW-Milwaukee.

Through dance she has experienced so many wonderful opportunities. With the Wausau Dance Theatre, she traveled to Germany to perform in Darmstadt and Fulda. For two years, she was a cast member at Walt Disney World in the Entertainment department. She has danced with City Ballet Theatre and had been a company member of Your Mother Dances for four years performing works by Luc Vanier, Elizabeth Johnson, David Parker, and Gerald Casel.

Sarah has been teaching dance for the past 20 years.  Her goal is to create a safe space for dancers to explore and develop artistically while providing a solid dance foundation and education instilling the same life skills she has learned.

Erin Carroll
Office Assistant

Erin was born and raised in Minocqua and fell in love with dance at the age of 3 when she began tap dancing with the Lynda Kronzer Dance Studio. She continued tapping there for 15 years before graduating from LUHS, after which she attended The Art Institute International Minnesota in Minneapolis where she received her associates of applied science degree in baking and pastry. She worked as a pastry chef around the Twin Cities and continued taking tap classes at Sweet Feet Dance in Minneapolis before shuffling back home to Minocqua to join the Lynda Kronzer Dance Studio as an instructor. Her close connection to Minocqua Dance led her to the office assistant position in 2024 where she has been able to exercise her strong organizational and communicative skills amongst a supportive and close-knit dance family.

Jennifer Markowski
Instructor

Jennifer Markowski was born and raised in Hurley WI, where she started her dance career at the age of four with The Ironwood Dance Company. She continued to take classes there for 15 years in jazz, ballet, lyrical and hip hip.  Her main focus was always hip hop due to how fast and creative it allowed her to be. From a young age, she knew she wanted to share her talent with other students and went on to explore different conventions throughout the midwest to broaden her knowledge and skills.  She ended her journey with the Ironwood Dance Company after teaching there for six years and moved to the Minocqua area. She started teaching at Minocqua Dance in 2019. She still continues to attend conventions and was recently certified in hip hop through John Comix Barrella.

Megan Breen
Instructor

Megan is originally from Plattville, Illinois and recently made the move to beautiful Saint Germain after graduating from Elon University in North Carolina. At Elon, she earned her degree studying Dance Science, Neuroscience, Psychology, and Dance — a combination that really reflects both her passion for movement and her curiosity about how the mind and body work together. She loves blending my academic background with her dance experience to create classes that are not only fun, but also thoughtful and supportive of each dancer's growth.

She has been dancing for over 20 years, training primarily in ballet, but also developing a deep love for lyrical, contemporary, modern, and improvisation. Each style has helped shape her as both a dancer and a teacher. Providing her with a creative outlet with endless ways to explore movement.

As a teacher, she believes in building strong technical foundations while also encouraging individuality, creativity, and confidence. She wants every dancer to feel empowered in the studio — to take risks, make discoveries, and find joy in the process. Her goal is to create a positive and inspiring environment where dancers feel supported and excited to learn.
